Eric Meeker, D. D. S.
I was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I went to Marquette University from 1987-1994 where I received my Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Thereafter I moved to Orlando, associating in several practices before I established my private practice in November of 1995.
For me, the best part of being a dentist is helping people as well as getting to know them. Everybody has their own goals, so it’s important to listen to others. It’s always been a learning & growing process for my staff & I; as well as our patients.
Volunteer Work: I am very privileged to be a dentist. I’ve always believed with that privilege comes some responsibility to give back to the community. Helping people in need and relieving their suffering is the most noble human action. That message really applies to everybody.
Over the years Dr. Eric Meeker has donated his time and services in the area for:
Give Kids a Smile — An ADA volunteer program that allows kids in need to receive complimentary dental care at the volunteer dentist’s office.
Dentistry from the Heart — Another volunteer program that sets aside the Friday closest to Valentine’s Day (that’s February 14th in case any of you guys forgot!), for a day of complimentary dental care for the community. We see way too many patients on this day, but it’s a lot of fun and very rewarding.
St. Luke’s Dental Clinic — This is a free-care dental clinic located in Eustis, treating hardship patients on Monday & Wednesday evenings as of 11/13.
Florida Baptist Mobile Dental Van – This mobile dental van rotates to all Florida Counties, including Lake County for treatment of hardship cases.
Life can’t be all work. In my free time I enjoy sports, music & film. I also enjoy reading books.
